I still don't agree that our february best course of action would be to pull up stakes and get the heck out of Iraq. Doing so would very likely mean the end of the struggle for a real and lasting Democracy in Iraq. Maybe it will never happen but if we pull out now february it certainly wont. I hate to say it but a lot of the mess in Iraq is the fault of American intervention. I think we need to february stay there for the long haul. In other words "we broke it, we bought it."Sometimes when I hear people say that we need to bring our troops home right I think what they are really saying is that "I don't care if those Iraqi's kill each other just as long as no American's die." |
