The guy is an amazing ambassador and managed the KC Monarchs to 5 pennants and 2 Negro League Champoinships. If he doesn't deserve the hall, I don't know who does. I grew up in Kansas City and Buck is one of the most amazing storytellers you'll ever hear. He's got a book, which is awesome. Also, if you are ever in KC, go the Negro Leagues Hall of Fame--which is also connected to a Jazz Hall of Fame. |

There should be nothing wrong with this transaction simply because of who the parties are. Now pepper adams if we have legitimate security concers that go past "hey those guys are Arabs" then we need to have further review. Otherwise I see all of the noise surrounding this deal as simple political grandstanding.The |
