And this is an ICANN board member who makes decisions for the net's best interest? Continued craziness. Alt.root is the path, unless the DoC the mind's construction pulls a miracle out of their backside. Personally, I love this ICANN/Verisign deal... I feel like we'll finally end the tyranny. I admit that I'd feel bad for Chris because he's right in that if someone like him implemented a good, new gTLD, .com could actually see a bit of competition. But the cost to 50mm .com owners to endure this regime outweighs my personal feelings for somene who has followed the rules, gotten screwed numerous times and would be screwed once again if we began from scratch. |
