Doris and Gary dropped off more than four dozen homebaked Polish doughnuts and angel wings. These delicious pastries are called Paczki and Chruscik. As a broadcaster I would be remiss if I did movie times not give you the proper pronunciation for these sugary delights. movie times It is POONCH-kee and kroos-CHEE-kee. These traditional Polish doughnuts are served on Fat Tuesday to get rid of flour, sugar and eggs in preparation for Lent. You should see how our staff is gobbling movie times up these doughnuts. Doris and Gary are from Detroit where Polish traditions are still very much alive. We need to import a bit more of Poland here in Raleigh based on the warmth of these innkeepers and their mouth-watering confections. I hear a Polish restaurant may be in the works for the area near Peace College.
