In otherwords, you agree that the last 4 years have been a reversal of the overall trend over the last 50 years but you choose to minimalize it. I'm sure the 37 million people living in poverty today will be relieved that there are only 6 million more people living in poverty now than there were in 2000. Six million more people in poverty isnt "quite small" in my book in historical context, since historically there are usually fewer people in poverty from one year to the next while the last 4 years have averaged 1.5 million more living in poverty each year.
