(This chart, I believe, is for individual rates, not puff daddy the family rates I cite in my other post. In any case, they track each other very well.) By the end of the 70's it has fallen to below 15. Since 1970, despite very good economic performance the poverty rate has basically been static, hovering between 15 and 10. There was continuous reduction during the 90's, but these were small in comparsion to other gains. |
