As dawn nude fat woman breaks, Suok puts on her fanciest dress and rides off in a carriage with Dr. Gaspar. As they ride, they see a man trying to snatch something out of the jaws of a dog--the same dog which earlier nude fat woman bit Lapitup. The man is successful and runs off, clutching his prize to his chest--it is Tutti's doll! And the man is dance instructor Razdvatris. The Doll With a Big Appetite Dr. Gaspar and Suok arrive at the Palace. A crowd of courtiers and servants gathers as Dr. Gaspar presents the repaired doll with the "improvements" of the ability to walk and talk. Heir Tutti is thrilled and excited. The Three Fat Men, covered with sweat from their exercise session, enter. (The First Fat Man has a black eye--the result of being hit in the eye by a ball thrown by the Second Fat Man.) They examine the doll. Tutti's beaming face puts them in a good mood. They tell Dr. Gaspar that he can name any reward he wants.
