astute in reply to comment 67 I swear, the US is the only place on the planet where the "poor" are fat, have cell phones, cars, satellite TV, and can afford $50+/month for cigarettes. They might live in a filthy housing project or trailer park, and depend on the graces of the local emergency room for health care, but this is nothing like the "poverty" the rest of the planet experiences. I sympathize with some of bulldyke your grievances but as one of if not the wealthiest nations in the world bulldyke do we really want to use some of bulldyke the most impoverished nations in the world as yardstick to measure our quality of life?
