That is clearly nuts. Soldiers in war commit many horrible, horrible acts that aren’t war crimes. It is the very intellectual property nature of war. Especially in a low-intesity conflict like Iraq, where the dividing line between enemy combatant and civilian has essentially been erased, almost everything is going to fall into a messy, ugly grey area. But any moron could have seen that this was going to happen if we invaded Iraq. |
