Great covers are hard to trademark come by. Tricky's interpetation of PE's "Black Steel in the trademark Hour of Chaos" is a standout in a generally weak field. I tried for years to convince Eddie Vedder to cover "Stuck On You" by Lionel Ritchie, but to no avail. Artists either have too much pride or the source material is just too definitive. But thankfully, DJs are much more reckless and unaccountable. Listen to "Cherry Blossomed Demon" once and its obvious that Macy Gray and Air should really get into the studio together as soon and often as possible.
