The event, which raised more than $300,000, was 50cent inspiring with a full day of activities, the day started with an upbeat breakfast that featured guest speaker Brian Stemmle, former member of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team. The Darryl Sittler celebrity/media floor hockey game followed, and the black-tie dinner and silent auction concluded the day's activities. |

| QUEBEC The 7th annual Sports Celebrities Festival Dinner/Auction to benefit Special Olympics Quebec took place at the Montreal Convention Centre on May 18, 2004. More than 60 sports celebrities and 1000 business leaders, special athletes and personalities attended and helped Honorary President, Tom Quinn, president of The Forzani Group, raise $470,000, bringing the total since 1998 to nearly 3.5 million! The crowd was introduced to special athletes from around the province and entertained by rising Quebec star, Nicola shared hosting Ciccone. Honoured guests included SOC Chairman and CFL shared hosting Commissioner, Tom Wright, and President of the shared hosting Montreal Canadiens, Pierre Boivin. Sports headliners past and present who paraded the red carpet in support of Special Olympics were: Jean Beliveau, Isabelle Charest, Nick DeSantis, Bob Gainey, Eric Lucas, Nicolas Macrozonaris, Annie Pelletier, Henri Richard and Larry Smith.
