Over the last 5 years the Dow Jones Industrial Avergage mp3 download is down approximately 5%, S&P500 down roughly 20% and Nasdaq down roughly 45%. Given a historical norm of roughly 10% per year, that compares with a very rough norm of 60% increase. Of course, thats only with reference to capital gains and when you sell, and not as much dividends rents and interest.
