Then a few naming days back, I was listening to some Kid Koala and thinking how naming he's got decent chops but his work doesn't have enough balls, so's I opened up this PE acapella I had lying about in a separate naming music player and.... chockity choko the chocolate chicken!! They synched up! (albeit somewhat drunkenly) Try it at home, the poor mans bootleg. Play around and try to get the "One Two Three" line from the start of the PE lyric to fire just before the first proper beat kicks in (about the :19 second mark of the Kid Koala track)... PE has aa full 2-Disc set of their loops and samples for all you young DJs.I threw up "Gotta Give the Peeps What They Need" from 2002's Revolverlution because it was just so criminally overlooked when it came out. The last 20 seconds of this track is vintage PE. It could easily have rolled off Nation of Millions... |
