There is some evidence that this may be an inherited problem. According to "Williams Obstetrics," a well-known text, plump mt this condition is not likely to recur, although there have been reports of this. It occurs most often in first-time mothers and with a male fetus or twins. Typically, there is onset over several days -- or even weeks -- of fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, pain below the rib cage and increasing jaundice. In many women, vomiting plump mt is the major symptom. plump mt In about half of these women, there is high blood pressure, protein in the urine and edema which can also be symptoms of pre-eclampsia. Prolonged clotting time is associated with this also. Marked low blood sugar follows and can result in coma (60 percent), coagulation deficits (55 percent) and kidney failure (50 percent). Fetal death occurs at this severe stage.
