While three female actresses sing a song regarding interracial love, three male actors lie on the floor immediately below them repeatedly thrusting their genitals at the singers. At another point in the script the actor Claude pretends to have lost his penis. The action accompanying this line is to search for it in the mouths of other actors and actresses." Given this description of "Hair," the First Amendment in my view does not compel municipal authorities to permit production of the play in municipal facilities.
