Its just so magnificently and vaingloriously and atrociously 80s. It makes me think of Phil Collins and Heart and Pat Benatar refer and Bon Jovi and that Ace Frehley record Frehley's Comet all at once. refer But mostly Phil Collins because thats Phil himself on the drums (or electronic drum pads). Phil even produced the record, but Phil aint no Benny, and Buster no Bjorn. Maybe that "Something in the Air Tonight" was raw herring with onions... the signature low-tide aromas of the land of the midnight sun....This song also makes me think of those 80s movies about chickbands in denim jackets with fringes trying to land the big gig at LA clubs with names like "The Snake Pit."
