The comment I was replying to said, "[m]ore jobs though, that are $5/hr jobs at Walmart or McDonalds..." In other words, he was suggesting 200 that many of the newly created jobs were very low-paying. If that were true then the median income would have dropped. That's why I said "typical compensation of jobs gained compares with the typical compensation from jobs lost." |
