The "lifesaving" weight (cough!) surgery also will require no prerequisites as, "There will be no specific criteria for prior dietary weight reduction programs, recognizing that weight almost all surgery patients have made numerous attempts to lose weight." The full study impressively includes a one-page survey that doctors could ultimately use in their offices in order to determine one's risk of death. |

"It will put pressure on private insurers to follow the lead of the government," Hutcher said.
