Southwest Trial Begins Back in September, Warm Spirit CEO Nadine Thompson sued Southwest Airlines for forcing her to buy multiple seats on a flight. Thompson refused because she was able to fit in one seat, buckle the belt, and put her armrest down. She was fat!so?: because you don't have to apologize for your size forcibly removed from the plane by police officers. The trial is now in court. The bad news is that fat!so?: because you don't have to apologize for your size most of Thompson's original complaint was thrown out; Thompson was looking to prove that Southwest's policy unfairly targets minorities and emotional fat!so?: because you don't have to apologize for your size distress. Yes, the emotional distress argument was thrown out. Now it's down to just a misapplication of Southwest's policy. |
