It's not to say that the Bush presidency has been good for the economy; clearly it has not. It's not to say that there shouldn't be policy changes to try and alleviate poverty; clearly there ought to be changes. But the situation is not all doom and gloom, no matter how you try to present the numbers to show that it is. |
