A person could buy a bulletinboard whole chicken for bulletinboard $5, a pound of fresh green beans for $2, 5 lbs of potatoes for $2.50, and a gallon of milk for $2.50, total 12 bucks, no tax. Four healthy meals of chicken, beans, potatoes and milk, boil the carcass and make soup/stew with the leftover vegetables for four more meals, again with milk. |
