Grainger "NewMommy" (California) - See all my reviews I received this book as a gift, and was leery before I read it as her TV personality and "potty humor" is not weight loss generally my style. However, when applied weight loss to pregnancy, I found it totally hilarious! It was laugh-out-loud funny to me, and I had to stop reading it in bed because I was keeping my poor husband awake. It's an outrageously plain-talking, unglamorous look at the things we women go through during pregnancy. It's definitely not for people without an open-minded sense of humor or the faint-hearted. By the way, my husband read it, too (although he didn't enjoy it quite as much as I did) and he learned a few things he didn't know about some of the "less ladylike" things he could expect to experience during the birth. |
